|About The Course:
|Physics is the study of how and why nature seems to work. It is a truly challenging and academic course which requires high level maths skills as well as an open imagination.
|Students will study the following areas for the full A level:
|Internally assessed practical work, external examinations
|College Entry Requirements:
|Minimum of 5 good grades at GCSE, including English and maths at a strong pass
|Subject Specific Requirements:
|A grade 7 or above in maths and grade A physics at GCSE.
|Physics will support a career in civil, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering, teaching, medicine and architecture. It is also viewed favourably by universities and employers alike where high skill levels in problem solving, data handling and logic are required e.g. economics, finance, and law.
